At the request of the U.S. Consulate in Amsterdam, among others, we have now been providing fingerprinting services for the private sector, companies and various national and international governments for over 20 years.

Fingerprinting is often part of formal procedures where strict rules apply with respect to different countries. The fingerprinting service of Van Kappel Security BV not only includes the taking of fingerprints but consists of the guidance of the entire process to the extent desired. We take care of the proper handling of the procedure you need to follow up to the secure transmission of documents pertaining to you. With this, we guarantee a unique, highly professional approach with a personal touch.

Do you need a certificate of good conduct from Indonesia because, for example, you have worked here or lived here for some time? Herewith we give you some basic information regarding how to apply for this statement:

The police clearance certificate is issued by the National Police of Indonesia. This statement is available to all Indonesian citizens and foreigners who have lived and/or worked in Indonesia for a period of time with a work or residence visa.

If you have stayed in Indonesia with a stay visa, business via or a social visa then it is not formally possible to request this statement from the Indonesian police. If you are not living in Indonesia (anymore) but elsewhere it is still possible to apply for this certificate. We recommend using a specialized immigration law firm to help you with this procedure. The reason is:

1. If you have been staying in Indonesia under a visa on arrival, business via or social visa, they can help you apply for a certificate of good conduct, they provide the necessary documents which are accepted by foreign governments. This also applies if you have stayed in Indonesia with an IMTA or KITAS. The law firm oversees the application and the quality of the documents.

2. The application and documents should be delivered to an Indonesian police station, when the statement is ready it should also be picked up again, in person, at the Indonesian police station. If you are no longer resident in Indonesia, it is not possible to get your statement if you are not there at the time the statement is ready, it is not possible to have the statement sent by the Indonesian police. The immigration law firm takes care of this entire process and makes sure the statement gets to you.*

* Fingerprints can also be taken at the Indonesian Embassy, they can also send the documents to Indonesia for you. It is important to note that you do have to go to Indonesia in person afterwards to pick up your statement at an Indonesian police station.

Documents required for the application:
1. Application letter from your current or previous employer in Indonesia (the law firm has examples of this and a guide on how to complete this letter);
2. Law firm application form (they will send this form to your);
3. Fingerprints taken on Indonesian fingerprint cards or on the fingerprint cards used by the country where you are currently residing;
4. Four passport photos, 6×4, with a yellow background (yellow background may be added later with a photo editing program).

On the chosen date and time, you will come by our office so we can take your fingerprints. If you prefer to fill out your information at a later time, you can also email fingerprints@vkss.nl first to make an appointment. We need your completed information several hours before the appointment to prepare the fingerprint cards and identity statement.
